At Forva, you pay for a compounded plan at checkout, before your provider review. If a licensed provider decides treatment isn't appropriate, no medication is sent and the full amount you paid is refunded, including the professional services fee. If you are prescribed and later want to stop, you can cancel by email at any time, and what's refundable depends on whether medication has been dispensed. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
Why might a provider not prescribe?
A licensed provider reviews your health history and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. Not everyone qualifies. Completing an intake doesn't guarantee a prescription, and the decision belongs to the provider, not to Forva.
What happens to your payment if you're not prescribed?
For compounded weight loss plans, the full amount you paid is refunded and no medication is sent. The brand-name medication path and hormone therapy lab fees follow their own rules in our refund policy.
How do you cancel?
Email support@forvahealth.com. A few details matter:
- To stop an upcoming shipment, your request has to arrive at least 72 hours before it's dispensed. Requests inside that window apply to the next cycle.
- We confirm your cancellation by email within 24 hours.
- You won't be asked to accept a retention offer or take any other step to cancel.
- Cancelling ends your plan and stops future billing.
What's refundable after you cancel?
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| A provider decides treatment isn't appropriate | Full refund, no medication sent |
| You cancel a multi-month plan before any medication is dispensed | Refund of what you paid, minus a $50 professional services fee |
| You cancel in writing within 24 hours after your review and prescription | A refund of what you paid, minus a $50 professional services fee, may be issued |
| Medication has been dispensed and shipped | Not refundable |
| A provider stops your treatment, or we can't fill your prescription | Used 4-week cycles are repriced at the standard rate, and any difference may be refunded |
| Lack of results, change of mind, or not following your treatment plan | Not refundable |
Cancelling doesn't by itself entitle you to a refund; the situations above decide it. Full details, including how a partial refund is calculated, are in our refund policy.
What if your medication arrives damaged or looks wrong?
Contact the dispensing pharmacy within 48 hours of receiving it so the issue can be reviewed. The pharmacy's contact information comes with your delivery.
What should you look for in any provider's refund policy?
- What happens to your payment if you're not prescribed.
- How much notice you need to stop a refill.
- Whether cancelling requires a call, a retention offer or other steps.
- What's refundable once medication has shipped.
GLP-1 medications can cause side effects, most commonly nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation, and carry serious risks. Labeling for FDA-approved semaglutide and tirzepatide products includes a boxed warning about thyroid C-cell tumors. Your provider reviews these risks before prescribing. The FDA's information on unapproved GLP-1 drugs is worth reading before you choose any provider.
