Millions of Women Are Going Through This Right Now.
Menopause symptoms can last for years, and most women don't get care for them. It's real, it's common, and there's treatment that works.

Your Hormones Changed. Your Treatment Can Too.
For many women, replacing the hormones that fall during menopause is what finally brings relief.
Estrogen
The most effective treatment for hot flashes and night sweats. In a review of 24 trials, oral hormone therapy cut how often hot flashes happened by about 75% compared with placebo.
Progesterone
Protects the lining of your uterus while you take estrogen.
Testosterone, if right for you
In trials, testosterone improved sexual function in postmenopausal women. It's clinician-selected and not right for every woman.
Evidence for estrogen and progesterone comes mainly from studies of FDA-approved products, and the testosterone trials used other testosterone products. Forva's compounded versions were not used in these studies. Testosterone is not FDA-approved for use in women. HRT gave me my life back. At 46, I was dealing with brain fog, joint pain, night sweats, anxiety, exhaustion, and hair loss. After starting treatment, so much of that lifted. Adding testosterone helped me feel sharper, more confident, and more like myself again.
At 43, perimenopause hit me hard. The anxiety, UTIs, mood swings, and constant sense of doom were overwhelming. After starting HRT I feel calm, strong, and more like myself again. Estrogen and progesterone helped a lot, but testosterone has been the final piece.

Questions Women Ask Before Starting.
How do I know if I'm in perimenopause?
Perimenopause usually starts in your 40s and can last several years. Irregular periods, hot flashes, poor sleep and mood changes are common signs. Your provider looks at your symptoms and history to decide what fits.
Can I start hormone therapy in perimenopause?
Yes. Many women start in perimenopause, when symptoms often begin, rather than waiting for their periods to stop. Your provider looks at your symptoms and cycle to decide what fits.
Do I need labs?
Not for estrogen and progesterone plans. You can add a $89 panel at checkout if you'd like a baseline. Plans with testosterone start with a $79 lab panel, and if your results show testosterone isn't right for you, your $79 comes back as Forva credit.
How does the lab credit work?
On plans with testosterone, if your provider decides testosterone isn't right for you because of your lab results, we send you a one-time $79 code. Use it on any Forva plan within 12 months. It has no cash value, and it doesn't apply if you cancel or skip your blood draw. The optional $89 panel for estrogen and progesterone plans isn't credited, since those plans don't depend on labs.
Is hormone therapy safe?
Much of the fear about hormone therapy traces back to a 2002 study of women who were, on average, in their 60s. The Menopause Society's 2022 position statement says that for healthy women under 60, or within 10 years of menopause, the benefits generally outweigh the risks for treating hot flashes and preventing bone loss. That guidance comes from studies of FDA-approved products. Hormone therapy isn't right for everyone, which is why your provider reviews your personal and family history before prescribing.
Why would I need progesterone?
If you have a uterus, estrogen on its own can thicken the uterine lining. Progesterone protects it. Your provider will tell you whether you need it, for example after a hysterectomy you may not.
Tablet or cream: which is better?
Both deliver estradiol. Some women prefer a daily tablet, others a cream on the skin. Your provider helps you choose, and you can switch later.
Can I add testosterone?
Some women add low-dose testosterone, most often for low libido after menopause. It isn't FDA-approved for women and isn't right for everyone, so your provider decides whether it fits. Plans with testosterone start with a $79 lab panel, credited back if your results show testosterone isn't right for you.
How soon will I feel better?
It varies. Many women notice fewer hot flashes within the first few weeks, and it can take a few months to feel the full effect. Your provider can adjust your plan along the way.
What does it cost?
Estradiol + progesterone bundles start at $109 every 4 weeks on a 24-week plan, and single medications start at $69. Your provider visit, medication, supplies and shipping are included, and you only pay for medication your provider prescribes.
Are your medications FDA-approved?
Forva's women's medications are compounded by state-licensed pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved or reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality.
